Weekend fun

After a long week of "doing nothing" except watching movies and reading books I really wanted to "do something" with friends. I called up a couple of my good buddies Scott and Casper to see if they wanted to play games at Starbucks. (I needed to stay out of the wind and cold.) We played Mancala and Strategio, two of my favorite games. They we beat me of course; they are both Jr. Math teachers. After that I suggested we go to the battling cages. We had so much fun. Scott is really competitive. Being a baseball star in my younger days I though here is a chance to smoke them. Well no such luck... Casper is a natural. Our scores for first round of pitching was Casper 21, Me 16 and Scott 6. :) In addition to this we hit balls, played air hockey, raced race cars (video game) play some drum game that is like Dance Dance Revolution with drums... It was sooooo what I needed. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time and you know what they say laughter is the best medicine. I think it is so true.
