Went to Kaohshiung for the weekend. First trip out of "the Dong" since the second week I arrived in Taiwan. I was able to meet up with my old roomate and her family on Saturday. Got to see their newest addition to their family, Caleb. It was so great to hangout with friends. We went to their church's harvest fest. It was really fun... they even had a pony. Friend suprised me by driving his motorcycle from Taitung to eat dinner with us. We ate at my favorite place the Indian Spice Shop! So good! Also I went to a movie with my friends from Taitung that I went to Kaohshiung with. Sunday we slept in and went to Costco. I got sour cream and granola and tortilla chips! Yummy!
When they were in the early phases of the planning this event Paula said," Let's get pony!" as a joke. She never actually thought they would do it! She was super excited to ride it though.
