His wife and best friend gave a short tribute to Bob before spreading the ashes. As the ashes where poured into the ocean we all shouted Aloha Bob! As a surfer and someone who was deeply passionate about the ocean I could not think of a more fitting place for is ashes to be!
After the ashes were poured into the ocean we all began to splash the water. Stir the water and that ashes together. It was a surreal experience... a joyful one!
Paddling back! There was a happy spirt with everyone! It was the most amazing memorial I have ever been too. My family has to learn how to surf now! This is exactly what I want when I go to meet my maker someday! Rest in peace, Bob!
