In Taiwan the students clean the school every morning and afternoon. And I mean CLEAN. They sweep and mop the floors, scrub the toliets, take out the trash, and whatever else needs to be done. It is apart of their life skills training. Also everyone brings their own toilet paper to school. Imagine the savings! And the kids do an awesome job and seem to enjoy the "grown-up" jobs that they have been given. Just saying... maybe if California schools can adopt this philosophy they wouldn't have so much debt.
