What a day!

So here's my morning. Today was parent's day. All the parent's come to talk to our "principle" and ask all their questions. They aren't suppost to come in the classroom, just stand outside and watch. Hahh! I teach 小班 in kindergarten, meaning 3-4 year olds. We were doing the storybook when all the parents came to look in the window. 4 kids start crying and two go histarical. I deciede storytime is over go sit in your chairs at the table. One kid gets so upset he throws up everywhere. The smell is so bad that we have to leave the classroom so the other students don't throw up. The parents return the language school and I have 10 crying kids to deal with and a stinky classroom. I am trying to get them to finish gluing red paper on a photocopy of an apple. My Chinese teacher leaves to talk to the parents. The throw up kid is hypevinalating. The rest are either running around or crying. One of the 大班 teachers ask be to help because he has no teacher either and his boys are fighting and girl is crying histrically. I threaten the boys with going to 小班 and pull the girl outside to find out what happened. Come to find out someone was making fun of her so I grabed a passing Chinese teacher to take care of it.
By this point I had had it. I send all my kids to the bathroom to wash their hands and play with toys. I try to clean up the mess outside the classroom and can hear the kids playing in the water in the bathroom. I go back in the classroom where Aaron has peed his pants and Jason is gagging and about to throw up again. Still no help. I usher everyone out of the bathroom and tell them to get their bowls for lunch. I go to get the food, come back to everyone running around the classroom. One by one I get them to sit down. My teacher comes back, we serve the food. Jason starts throwing up and Aaron is still standing in a puddle of pee. I grab the trash can to give to my co-teacher and change Aaron's clothes. And it is finally time to leave. What a morning?
And for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would think that this is good business (they are always talking about the buisness aspect of things). All the parents are there watching this drama/ comedy! There are some times I will never understand and this is one of them.! Ahhhhhh!
